All Year 13 & 14 students at Newry High School have access to a Careers suite and have Careers Education embedded into their PSE Programm. The Head of Careers and the Careers Advisor interview all students to establish each student’s career goals. A variety of presentations and information seminars take place.

Students have the opportunity to attend Open Days at universities as well as relevant univeristy faculty information seminars and specific career related workshop events.
In Year 13 students complete a work shadowing programme. This is organised in conjuction and with advice from the Head of Careers.
