SIXTH FORM STUDY
All Year 13 & 14 students at Newry High School have access to a Careers suite and have Careers Education embedded into their PSE Programm. The Head of Careers and the Careers Advisor interview all students to establish each student’s career goals. A variety of presentations and information seminars take place.
A-Level students have many privileges and responsibilities, these include:

- Sixth Form Uniform
- Newly refurbished 6th Form centre
- Peer tutoring
- Careers Programme
- Work Shadowing Experience

- UCAS Guidance & Preparation study Periods
- PSE Programme
Students have the opportunity to attend Open Days at universities as well as relevant univeristy faculty information seminars and specific career related workshop events.
In Year 13 students complete a work shadowing programme. This is organised in conjuction and with advice from the Head of Careers.
