I’m delighted to welcome you to our website. Our school prides itself on ensuring our key values of “Respect, Responsibility and Excellence” flow through everything that we do, from the curriculum to the extra-curricular activities, from trips to the events we plan.
Our school is a positive, vibrant and stimulating learning environment, where we provide a high quality secondary school education, along with post 16 study and ASC unit. We work tirelessly to make sure every student is happy and reaches their full potential. With our ASC unit we provide a learning environment that helps students, with a wide range of learning difficulties, gain the same opportunities as every other student within the school.
In Newry High School we pride ourselves on the high standards that we have set for not only our pupils but our staff as well and this is reflected in everything our school undertakes. We do this through abroad and balanced curriculum that lays down the pathway to a successful future for our students. The curriculum alone couldn’t provide this, it takes our dedicated staff who belive in every student’s abilities and who constantly encourage them to reach their full potential. This is also mirrored in all the extra-curricular activities provided here at Newry High.
Here at Newry High our students are placed at the centre of evertyhing we do as we know that theis period of every student’s life is very important. We take our pastorla care responsibilities very seriously and we understand that caring for the wellbeing of every student is paramount. We treat everyone as an individual and get to know tier unique characters. Our brilliant staff recongise that learning is made much easier when pupils fell content and safe.
