Careers education is an integral part of the curriculum for all pupils.

Aims

The central aim of careers education is "to help young people acquire the skills, knowledge and abilities to chart their path through life with confidence and to be effective in a variety of adult roles and spheres of life."

This element of the curriculum is delivered in various ways including Education for Employability, Learning for Life and Work, and Career Guidance from the Careers Department and a Careers Officer from the local Careers Service.
