Business Studies is a dynamic subject where pupils are introduced to the world of business. It is a highly relevant subject and deals with many of the issues faced in gaining employment or running your own successful business. Pupils will have the opportunity to be involved in case studies on well-known firms, simulations and visits to local companies. All of this allows them to put their theory into practice and see how it applies to the real world

Units 1 & 2 are examined through a series of short, structured questions.
Unit 3 – Controlled assessment involves writing a business plan. It is completed in year 12 and accounts for 20% of the final marks.
